Kids are kids, they take so much great pleasure in playing at every moment; however, in the absence of playing kits, they become frustrated and deprived. Our Haiti kids have been long deprived of their playing pleasure since the 2010 disaster and other unfavourable occurrences that followed. Here in Haiti, the children are already in a state of frustration and lack. The poor children have little (or sometimes nothing) to eat most of the time and, of course, nowhere or nothing to play. 

For Haiti’s children – who are continually affected by the devastating 2010 earthquake, some other life-threatening factors including the ongoing cholera epidemic and persistent poverty, playing kits and toys could serve as a diversion from their daily depressed living. It is easy to believe that food is not the only essential substance to enjoy life at maximum. Meanwhile, they have the same right to enjoy themselves as other children around the world. The toys also offer many essential play opportunities and give them the benefit of displaying their creative expression. They need hygiene kits to help protect them from several infections, including pervasive cholera and other dangerous diseases.

Illuminating Lives Foundation supplies entertaining kits and toys to the poor in large quantities, but with your assistance from a generous heart, we can reach more children in different care centres countrywide. What a tremendous blessing it is for the children to be able to play around with cheerfulness!
