Clothing is one of the most indispensable needs of people, especially the underprivileged. Due to the high poverty rate in several countries worldwide, many people living below the average poverty line consider buying clothes to be less important. What seems at the top of their mind is how to fill their belly. When hunger strikes, nothing else matters to the body other than food.

As a result, a visit to some impoverished communities showed that most people (both young and old) lack good clothes. It’s sad to see malnourished children exposing their bodies to all kinds of infections that fly around in the atmosphere. This makes them more vulnerable. The only clothing options they have are ragged casuals and discarded old clothes that they can amend to fit the children’s size. Commonly, most children have little clothing to wear until they become grown-up.

Pathetically, clothes do not last forever. Children need to change clothes as they grow. Interestingly, children grow faster and, most times, outgrow their clothes before a year clock. Although some adults, after wearing their clothes for some time, pass their clothes down to the younger ones. However, based on the rate at which children wear clothes, the consistent wearing makes the clothes wear out quickly.

Program Overview

In response to the lack of clothing and other essential daily need items, we launched one of the biggest clothing and essential needs programs. Through our program, we strive committedly to provide new and top-quality clothing to low-income and homeless, vulnerable individuals and families. We provide a wide variety of clothing categories, including warm clothes, casual wear, business attire, special events outfits, children’s clothing, and essential daily needs such as toothpaste, toothbrush, bathing soap, laundry and dishwashing soaps, sanitary pads for the females, and play tools for the younger children, and more. We make sure that the kind of clothing and essential daily needs we provide fits different weather and seasons.

Our clothing and essential needs program is driven by the call to recognize and improve all humanity’s inherent dignity. As such, we take time to organize and arrange a boutique-like structure in a serene environment where the underprivileged can come in and choose any clothing that suits their personal needs and satisfy their clothing desires. We try as much as possible to delight the people with beautiful clothes and a clean, well-arranged store that will always attract people to come in. we place much importance on high-quality clothing. We never for once allow any second-hand cloth to find its way to our racks.

Our free clothing and essential needs program is anchored in Matthew 25:36, which says that we dress Jesus when we wear a needy. We firmly believe in scripture and accept that by supplying clothes, shoes, and everything of basic necessity to the needy, we act according to the heart of God. 

Over the years, we have distributed large numbers of clothing items such as shirts, trousers, gowns, skirts, clothes, shoes, underwear, and other essential daily needs for adults and children. We understand that clothes also serve medical purposes. This is why we are committed to clothing the naked to prevent them from contracting diseases and developing sickness. We take it as a responsibility to clothe the naked and replace their rags with beautiful apparel. 

We love the poor, and we constantly strive to attend to their needs. As the need for clothing and essential daily needs among the underprivileged children around the world rises, we take trips to several necessitous communities (including the most remote areas) to donate high-quality brand new clothes to the children.

We establish a mini clothing factory where some handmade clothing items are made through our donors’ help. Many of the handmade designers are beneficiaries of our women empowerment program, where we teach several skills and vocations.

We fervently focus on providing a wide variety of clothing for people to make them look more gorgeous and encourage their social participation. Many adults don’t go to church, attend occasions because of a lack of good clothing. We take it as a responsibility to clothe them and replace their old, tattered clothes with beautiful ones. 

We supply clothing and other essential daily necessities such as toothpaste, toothbrush, bathing soap, laundry, dishwashing soaps, sanitary pads for the females, play tools for the younger children, and more different communities in the world. We believe that when we clothe a needy, we do it for God, as confirmed in Matthew 25:36. By supplying clothes and every other basic necessity to the needy, you are acting according to the heart of God.

Ways through which we get our clothing and essential daily need items
