MEDICAL PROGRAM

The World Health organization stated that almost half of the world lacks access to essential health facilities. The global medical crisis is becoming an emergency. There is an increased rate of chronic sickness and untimely death records. Several countries now hold a high record of infant and maternal mortality globally. A countless number of newborn babies are delivered with very low birth weight. Averagely, a larger percentage of children under age 5 died (and are still dying) of acute respiratory infections and diarrhea.

As a team of compassionate individuals, we are passionate about saving the dying lives from the life-claiming health catastrophe. We launched a well-organized and efficient medical program designed to stand as a steadfast defense against the overpowering health crisis in several underprivileged countries in the world. Our medical program has saved thousands of people at a very chronic health condition and prevented the outbreak of deadly diseases such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB, cholera, rabies, and other health problems, which have claimed several innocent lives prematurely.

Our medical program covers a lot of aspects of appropriate health care services. Over the years, we have provided adequate care for different kinds of illnesses and diseases, physical and mental trauma, and other health issues that threaten people’s lives. Still, in our medical program’s functions, we provide timely and adequate care for the weak, disabled, elderly, and children through research, analysis, and preventive practices.

We are in solid partnership with top-notch professional medical personnel. Hence, we can provide treatment for the injured, ailing, physically or mentally challenged, etc. Our professional medical personnel is constantly making deliberate efforts to maintain the people’s general health status in different communities and regions by implementing free tests and training programs that focused on maintaining personal hygiene and healthy lifestyles.

We are much committed to our medical program as it deals directly with the lives of the people. As we continuously strive to ensure a healthy nation through this program, we utilize modern medical equipment to restore the lives of the dying people and provide sufficient medical support through our experienced medical practitioners. Over the years, Illuminating Lives has been in partnership with distinguished health professionals and standard medical facilities to ensure sound public health.

Our medical program scheme provides:

Globally, a larger percentage of the medical facilities are private. Sadly, as a result of chronic poverty, many people cannot afford the high hospital bills. This is why we are committed to providing free primary health care for the underprivileged to ensure they get the necessary treatment to stay healthy.

In some other countries, only a few people out of the large population have access to medical services at the point of need. This is why our medical program aims at providing free basic health care to people at their very point of need. We care for the underprivileged in different countries worldwide who lack direct access to basic health care.

Many children have died due to the shortage of medical assistance. Many developed one disability or the other due to complications at birth and can’t help recover from it.  These all call for a constant healthcare response to the challenging situation at hand.

Another key aspect of our medical program is the provision to free access to medical drugs. Many medical facilities have been destroyed, and there’s a shortage of drugs in the remaining less-functioning medical centers. More than half of the population cannot afford to buy drugs from private owned medical centers, and there are limited drugs in the government-owned medical centers to serve the large population.

We feel responsible for caring for the people. Over the past years, through our medical program, we have distributed countless free drugs to people to help them out in days of emergency. All our drugs are given with the appropriate prescription from our professional medical personnel. We also ensure that we give our free drug program’s beneficiaries professional guidelines to avoid drug misuse and abuse.

There’s a shortage of qualified and experienced medical practitioners in some poverty-stricken countries where there’s no enough fund to pay highly trained professionals. 50% of the child deliveries are done by non-qualified medical personnel, which is the major cause of children’s high death records at birth. Many children develop critical health issues right from their infanthood because they are administered to by unprofessional hands.

With the ever-growing need for highly experienced professional medical personnel, we partner with many qualified and experienced medical professionals who volunteered to use their knowledge and experience to serve God’s purpose by saving lives. Many of our medical partners are from different parts of the world, with different higher healthcare degrees and other certifications.
