There are countless reasons why it is necessary to volunteer your time and efforts for a good cause. Overcoming a critical situation requires a unified joint effort characterized by faithfulness and loyalty. No charitable origination can survive without the sincere and committed contributions of volunteers. We have always counted on your giving nature to execute our programs and achieve our mission.

We value our volunteers so much, and we never desist in giving them the appropriate care and support as well as supply them with the necessary resources to ensure they carry out their assignments efficiently. Our volunteers’ work has immensely helped the productivity of the foundation in terms of organizing events, reaching out to the general public, distribution of our donations in diverse communities, and being a voice in the media.

Many thanks and gratitude to our volunteers. They’re ever ready to serve and help the underprivileged and the less fortunate. They do not volunteer their time and efforts for their benefits; they volunteer because they are compassionate, feel concerned, and, most importantly, because it makes a difference. Volunteering gives a subtle shift in the minds of the volunteers as they support the God-given vision with their time. Volunteering makes volunteers feel more connected to the lee fortunate and makes them less absorbed by the stress of the works.

The impact of our volunteers is innumerable. Aside from the emotional, social, physical, and spiritual perks, we cannot overemphasize the benefits we enjoy from the faithful service of our volunteers.

The essential benefits of volunteering

1.  It builds community. The efforts and loyal service of volunteers strengthen the community and make people feel life and love even in their overwhelming poor conditions. People feel honored when they serve fervently. Volunteering creates a passionate bond of friendship between the volunteers and the people in the community. It builds a solid social network that uplifts the community in the long run.

2. Volunteers experience growth. Volunteering brings double side advantages – as it benefits the people; it benefits the volunteers as well. As you volunteer in an ongoing program, you experience growth and change. Whether you are working with children teaching them to read and write or adults helping them learn new skills or start-up something new entirely, you will experience growth both in yourself and the people you serve over time. Seeing people developing and growing in a new dimension of life brings a sense of worthiness and vitality in the on-going program.

3. It brings fulfillment. It brings much joy and enrichment in mind, real9ising how much of an impact you have made with your time, energy, skills, and resources. Nothing makes one feel more fulfilling than seeing the result of your efforts in later times. When volunteers work together in a program to help organize life-changing events, construct a building, supply donations to different communities, train adults, nurse children, help the needy families, and more, it brings a sense of fulfillment visiting the community and seeing how much the project has enriched the lives of people. It’s amazing how a few hours of helping cam become a lifetime impact. This is one of the highest benefits of volunteering.

4.  It aids learning. Volunteering allows volunteers to get involved in several new activities and help them to learn new skills. Volunteering makes you do something entirely different from what you have been doing in your routines. For instance, an accountant may volunteer to help construct a playground or assist in the cooking or packaging meals for distribution. After the program, the accountant will end up working away with some construction or cooking tips, depending on which area he volunteered. Learning is an essential aspect of life, and it’s what volunteers experience as they help people live a more comfortable life.

5. It helps build networks. When volunteers who are like-minded work together, a network is formed. After working together in an ongoing program, the relationship never ends. It’s very usual for volunteers to exchange phone numbers and social media contacts, which mostly result in lifelong friendships with many opportunities. A volunteer project for a few days or weeks can bring a junior staff of a small organization together with much top management staff of a higher paying company and result in better, unexpected employment. As you volunteer, you may be helping your career in the process.

Areas where you can volunteer in our programs

Are you ready to get involved? There are several areas to serve as a volunteer in our various ongoing programs. A few are:

Food servers and preparers: We feed thousands of mouths every day. You may volunteer to help us in the kitchen for cooking or in the packaging stage. Many hands mean better and faster productivity. By volunteering, you will help us reach farther than we have always been and relieve the loads on the volunteers on the ground.

Tutors for youth and adults: We teach youths and adults new skills to help them become the person of their dreams through our men and women empowerment programs. Your volunteer service will help tremendously build the future of many people by developing their present with seasoned training. Artisans, entrepreneurs, professionals, and public speakers can fit into our extensive varieties of training.

Social media maintenance and public relations: IT professionals and public relations experts can volunteer to represent us in the public scene. We always want to get across to the public to keep people updated about our next programs and events and get them involved in our schemes and projects.

Drivers for pickups and deliveries: Our donors send donations from far away and abroad. We need volunteers who are skilled drivers (cars or motorcycles} to help us pick up donations on arrival and arrange them in a store. Volunteers can also help us deliver our donations to the various communities where we donate to the needy.

Children caretakers: Volunteers can also help us take care of the children during events to achieve orderliness and control while executing our projects.

There are many other areas where you can volunteer to serve in our various programs. Volunteering is a donation in the form of service, and remember that service to humanity is the best work of life.
